Crittenton Hospital Medical Center is a non-profit hospital that has been serving North Oakland County for more than 100 years. The target audience includes individuals seeking to receive world class health care services within the Crittenton geographic area. Crittenton�s competitive advantage is its size: it is a small community-based hospital with a huge opportunity to build a virtual wellness community.
A website was designed and built that was pragmatic, yet visually appealing and simple to use. It improved the hospital�s ability to communicate, share, engage and conduct business online.
Goals included:
- Show a personal side to medicine
- Help redefine what it means to be a community hospital using social web tools and features
- Become an interactive community hub for health and wellness
- Begin to introduce how the hospital understands both the technical and social aspects of medicine
