Extra Life is an annual game marathon that raises money for hospitals that treat children with life-threatening illnesses. Through 2930 Creative's previous charitable work with Extra Life for Kids DFW, 2930 Creative was contacted by the national office. The national office for Extra Life for Kids wanted a display ads campaign. 2930 Creative created the campaign slogan "Everyone is a hero," to promote the inclusiveness of Extra Life for Kids. The goal of the campaign was to get all kinds of gamers involved. Starting in mid-September of 2014, the display ads ran for a month leading up to the Extra Life for Kids gaming marathon. The ads ran on sites such as IGN, Reddit, GameSpot, Giant Bomb, Rooster Teeth, and Twitch.
