Elite Editing is a New York–based full-service editorial company, offering proofreading, editing and writing help for businesses, academics and individuals through the website EliteEditing.com. In its first year, Elite Editing has carved a niche in the crowded online marketplace due to its unique focus on matching the right editor with each client, effectively offering personal editorial service over the web. With the understanding that much of Elite Editing’s business would be based online, major focus was put on the development of the company’s website, EliteEditing.com. Under the creative direction of award-winning designer David P. Crawford and owner Jennifer Rotner, the goal was to create a site that was both approachable and current. The challenge was to design for a wide array of potential clients, due to the diversity of our audience. The result is a cleanly designed site that is accessible to all. The success of this partnership has also led to acclaim by design sites such as Vimeo.com, a feature in HarperCollins’ new release Logolicious: A Tasty Collection of the Best Logos from Around the Globe and the prestigious Stevie Award for Website of the Year. EliteEditing.com seamlessly allows users to upload documents and pay instantly so that, no matter the deadline, their work will be delivered on time and error-free. The site also functions as an extensive writing resource, offering an invaluable list of articles, links and writing tips that is constantly evolving, with new, original content added daily.
