What do you think of when you think of hyperpigmentation? Harsh redness, dark spots, inflammation. It’s an angry picture. Everything about this Clinique experience is designed to soothe. From the opening video spot filled with cool, calming colors and visuals to the informative quiz, the fresh makeup-free faces on every slide and the sleek chrome packaging of the product, when users opt into this experience, they enter the Clinique Spa. The main feature of this campaign is an informational quiz that puts the user’s hyperpigmentation knowledge to the test. After answering a few questions, the user’s ‘Hyperpigmentation 101’ course is complete and their reward is Clinique’s solution to the problem of hyperpigmentation: the Even Better Clinical™ Dark Spot Serum. The beauty (see what we did there) of this informational quiz is how easy it is to adapt to other formats for CTV capability. Both versions of this campaign clearly resonated with audiences: The Quiz unit drove a 28% increase in Awareness and most significantly, a 95% increase in Intent to purchase. Meanwhile, the simplified Foundation Carousel CTV version drove an excellent QR scan rate of 0.36% and an exceptional 9.5X average interactions proving that good, clean, relevant content resonates in any form.
