Created by CBG Building Company, the project’s builder, and co-managed by CBG and KCM, the project’s construction manager, the site keeps community members informed of project milestones, work schedules, and any temporary impacts related to construction activities. Since its launch in October ‘24, the website has attracted 1.3K unique visitors and garnered 2.5K page views.
To ensure easy access, CBG installed signage with a QR code and shared the website via newsletters. This has driven 1,074 visitors (63.44% of traffic) from the VA/DC/MD region, highlighting strong local engagement.
The website minimizes disruption by keeping the community informed and builds goodwill with neighbors by showcasing CBG’s commitment to proactive and transparent communication. Its cohesive, responsive design ensures seamless browsing across all devices. The homepage features a community rendering and real-time updates on construction progress and disruptions like lane and sidewalk closures.
The Project Information page offers a detailed overview of the redevelopment to give stakeholders a clear understanding of the project’s scope and benefits. The FAQs page addresses common development-, construction-, parking-, and operations-related questions, such as parking availability and noise mitigation efforts. With easy-to-navigate buttons at the top, visitors can jump directly to the relevant section, ensuring a user-friendly experience.
