The "Snap. Tap. Deposit." campaign launched in November 2011 to introduce Golden 1�s Mobile Deposit app, which allows credit union members to electronically deposit checks from their iPhone, BlackBerry and Android mobile devices. Considering only one major bank had introduced a similar product, Golden 1 used this online campaign to prove to prospective customers in the San Francisco and Sacramento markets that the credit union could be on the cutting edge of technology.
