Taking a brief from 20th Century Fox, we dove head first into the wonderful Ice Age franchise and brought the infamous characters of Manny, Sid, Diego and Scrat to life within Facebook with all of your friends along for the ride.
Using the latest in Box 2D and Stage 3D technology in a setting of an 1980�s style arcade game, we created a realistic and engaging experience that allowed fans to both play on their own as well as share the experience With their friends via Facebook Connect.
We also created a real-time physics engine that allowed the client to tweak the gameplay mechanics in real-time to their satisfaction. This also allowed us to improve gameplay mechanics as comments came in during our final user testing phase without having to re-compile or re-build. Speaking of building, we also localized to 12 different languages including English, Portuguese, Dutch, French, Russian and Korean appealing to fans young and old - regardless of their location.
