Best Email Online Campaign
In 2012, GetResponse introduced an enhanced design interface. New Email Creator enabled users without HTML skills to create professional-quality email templates quickly and with minimum effort. To promote it we launched Email Template Contest.
Goal and audience
The goals were to demonstrate Email Creator�s ease of use, promote a brand image of freedom and fun, introduce GetResponse to new audiences, and acquire free-trial signups. The target audience for this campaigns was SMBs, start-ups, online entrepreneurs, marketers � both freelancers and in agencies.
Contest Mechanism
Participants used Email Creator to design and submit their email templates.
We selected 15 finalists and used a Facebook app for public voting to determine an Audience Award winner.
Then three Grand Prize winners were selected by a jury panel of industry experts.

- New Facebook fans: 1,500
- New free-trial accounts: 17,000
- FB voting app total visits: 3802
- FB voting app total shares: 1846
- Visits to contest page: 3146
- Email creator page visits in the period: 5018
- Press release total impressions: 42,944
- Press release total pick ups: 150
