The TV Boss app, produced in conjunction with the National Cable & Telecommunications Assn., as well as the Movie Pictures Association of America, was developed to help educate families. In the wake of the perceived connection between violence in the media and violence in the streets, these organizations wanted to better inform audiences on evaluating what media was appropriate for different age groups. The app not only provides rating guidelines, but also a questionnaire to test your knowledge on media ratings.
