Continental Farms is a forward-thinking importer that is literally changing the way the Floral Trade buys flowers. The client enlisted POSIT in its mission to bring transactional simplicity to a floral industry that has traditionally placed very little effort on digital channels, and improving the B2B customer experience.
We built the website strategy around a streamlined ordering process that leverages many of the same tools found on the most advanced B2C websites. Recognizing that this B2B site would also be visited by brides, event planners and the general public as well, we spent several months showcasing the industry's most beautiful flower photography collection. Since this was a site designed to generate revenue, our main task was to place as much emphasis as possible on the speed, convenience, and security that comes with transacting online. At the same time, we needed to express the beauty, quality, and freshness associated with this brand. Our solution was to create both a pre-login and post-login, adaptive website satisfying the needs of customers and non-customers alike. Only the most essential content is included to keep site visitors engaged and not overwhelmed. Navigation is present when it needs to be, allowing users to easily jump from one section to the next, and completely out of the way during the checkout process. Sales figures and site analytics are confidential at our client's request, but we can say that the website has far exceeded the client's, and their customer's goals.
