Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa is the largest full-service beachfront resort hotel on Florida’s Emerald Coast. With 602 guest rooms, the resort offers everything from fine dining (with the area’s only AAA Four-Diamond steakhouse), to award-winning spa services, an abundance of outdoor recreational activities, golf, shopping and more.
The resort is also a favorite among couples, hosting year-round weddings in a variety of different venues including the resort’s beaches, waterfront decks, ballrooms and event rooms. In February 2016, Miles Partnership and Hilton Sandestin Beach launched the ‘Only One’ advertising campaign to increase wedding RFP submissions and encourage more couples to say ‘I Do’ at Hilton Sandestin Beach.
The campaign targeted brides-to-be within a 150-mile radius of the resort. Located in a popular area known for spectacular beach weddings, competition was high between other local hotels, resorts and beach venues. To stand out from the crowd, the team knew they had to create a fast, emotional connection with brides. The ‘Only One’ campaign sought to do just that, by bringing emotion to the forefront of online ads. Banner ads used short, powerful headlines to pinpoint the one, unforgettable piece of every wedding ceremony—the ‘I Do’ moment—and connect it to Hilton Sandestin Beach’s singularity in an effort to drive more brides to an RFP submission page on the resort’s website.
Banner ads ran in concert with keyword ad campaigns throughout 2016 and the results were amazing—Hilton Sandestin beach saw a 57% increase in wedding RFP submissions, compared to the previous year.
