The strategy and site are designed to attract and book people searching for a true Chicago experience, who want to live their slogan, "Stay Like A Local". Words they've used for their guests are "Energetic, Smart, Communal, Sports-Minded, Forward Thinking, Inclusive, Urban, Diverse, Unique, Hip, and Happy. Milestone utilized these personas to create content that speaks to the young, modern traveler, keying them in on what’s attractive about the hotel’s location. The tone of the content and the intuitive design speak to the audience. Information and social posts on local attractions, venues, and the food culture capture Millennials in the awareness phase of the customer journey. Clear call to actions and user-friendly navigation make it easy to plan and reserve. Nearby sights like the Lincoln Park Zoo and Wrigley Field, music venues, restaurants, bars, and Boystown have shaped the hotel's persona. Our key marketing objective was to attract new customers to this historic place and destination with great local information. Our goal was to create a gateway for guests to discover an authentic "Chicago Local" experience. We also had to make sure that we created a unique boutique persona, while aligning to the brand design and identity. The location on the crossroads of Diversey, Broadway, and Clark make it accessible to everything. We set out to highlight this with fresh content and user-focused design that showcase what to see and do close by.
