Passumpsic Bank asked Saltwater to produce a campaign that would increase their brand awareness in the region. Our goal was to remind Vermonters and Granite Staters of the brand and to get them excited about continuing their adventures with Passumpsic Bank, targeting audiences between the ages of 18-65 with a strategy designed to introduce and reinforce the brand to the lower end of that age range.
We knew we had a great tagline in "Start Your Adventure," and we knew that New Englanders love the outdoors, so we asked ourselves: what if New Englanders didn't have to interrupt their outdoor adventures to do their banking? What if we could combine our customers' love for the outdoors with Passumpsic Bank's great services? And with that, The Bank of the Wild was born.
We introduced The Bank of the Wild to the public through two unique teaser videos, followed by our primary campaign on television, and on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube. After launch, we boosted content showing our A-Tree-M machine, and two Mockumentary interviews. The fun didn't stop there - we shipped set pieces to branch locations and added vinyl footprints outside to highlight the bank's working relationship with that infamous creature of the forest, Sasquatch.
Ultimately, the campaign proved to be incredibly successful. What could have been a simple :30 broadcast spot turned into a months-long integrated campaign that resulted in millions of views and impressions by our targeted audience in Vermont and Northern New Hampshire.
