Best Computer: Software Interactive Application

Audience: IT managers, directors, and CX-level decision makers in large enterprises throughout North America and the UK


Goal: As part of an integrated campaign to introduce its new enterprise-class security line of products, the agency created a Flash-based viral game that drives home the value proposition represented by SonicWALL's e-class solutions. Research shows, oddly enough, that the higher you go in the executive ranks, the more likely the target plays short online games as a diversion from the workday. So we created a game that demonstrates how impossible it is to scan all incoming enterprise email for phishing, malware and viruses - and then points players to a specially-designed microsite about how SonicWALL can solve the problem easier and more cost-effectively than ever before possible. This game is extremely viral in that you can play the game and then challenge colleagues via email - complete with a running tally of everyone's top scores. Viral at its best.
