The ultimate goal behind this email was to drive recipients to register for ABA’s Regulatory Compliance Conference. To this end, we incorporated a video testimonial in the email from a past attendee to showcase the benefits from a banker’s perspective. The video was found to be particularly compelling and effective in spurring registration in that the testimony is clearly unrehearsed and honest. To have an actual conference attendee extol the benefits of the program proved more powerful than agency produced copy could hope to be.
