Faced with flagging enthusiasm, Microsoft challenged us to create a site that entertains developers while connecting them with resources.
We responded with HelloSecureWorld.com—a site introducing Security Sector 7, a stronghold of Internet security beneath Microsoft’s shadowy Building 7.
The site’s introduction takes visitors from the lobby to an underground headquarters, where a retro-styled console displays channels of content. Users can view instructional videos and developer interviews, play an educational game, read an exclusive comic, or practice virtual lab work.
Since its launch, HelloSecureWorld.com has garnered praise from Microsoft executives and been embraced by the tight-knit developer community, which continues to blog about it months after its release.
