In the spring of 2009, MBNA launched an online interactive “Credit Card Selector” to help users find a credit card that best suited their needs and preferences. BlueRush was contracted by MBNA to build this tool and provide a unique and engaging experience for users, beyond other similar selectors on the web. Using Rich Media, 3-D animations and easy-to-navigate steps, BlueRush designed and developed the MBNA Credit Card Selector while maintaining the company’s guidelines and user experience expectations. This 4 step process simplified and explained each step with a personal and friendly host who welcomed the users, guided them through the process, and congratulated them on their selection. Approximate metrics for this microsite are approximately 200-300 users per day with over 42,000 visitors since its launch in the summer of 2009.
