Taking Root is a quarterly e-newsletter distributed by the TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF), a national organization with a grassroots focus that funds local projects dedicated to preserving the environment.
Taking Root is geared towards anyone who is passionate about protecting the environment and about making a difference in their community. Our target audience is not the type to sit back and do nothing. We aim to arm this passionate group with a publication so valuable that they will share it within their networks, increasing the subscriber base.
Taking Root has two main goals:
• To increase awareness of TD FEF and its local initiatives across Canada
• To increase donations
• To increase its volunteer base
• To honour volunteers
• To reward subscribers with engaging, helpful and informative guide on how to truly make a green difference in their lives and in their community
It is designed to keep existing and potential members involved with the Foundation and informed of upcoming initiatives.
