The Business Objective:
To rebrand and enhance the COLD-FX website.
This new site needed a consumer-friendly interface through which the public and medical professionals could easily access a variety of tools, marketing materials, and health information. The site also needed to be used as a launching point to promote seasonal contests, as well as the distribution of coupons and a newsletter.
The Solution:
BlueRush created a commercial quality 3D introduction video for the site’s landing page. The video plays automatically to engage first time visitors and can be repurposed as a television commercial if required.
In addition to the video, BlueRush created a Cold and Flu resource centre that included:
• An impressive “Flu Fighter” tool that takes visitors through the cycle of cold and flu symptoms so that they can more readily identify both.
• A Symptom Checker that users can reference on an on-going basis.
• Weekly news updates that follow flu trends.
• And a health related poll.
In addition to all this, banner ads were created to focus on a social media campaign, contests and a newsletter.
Just as significantly, the site is based on a unique BlueRush CMS platform which allows Afexa to easily and cost-effectively manage and update content.
The result:
Since its launch, the re-branded COLD-FX website has welcomed between 500 and 1,000 daily visitors, and has achieved successful click-through rates throughout the site, thanks in large part to its enticing layout and engaging offerings.
