The intent of this project was to update the suite of Mortgage, Loans and Line of Credit calculators on the CIBC website.

This update was to switch their existing HTML calculators to Flash-based calculators – which are more dynamic, thus engaging the user more fully.

BlueRush created a total of 11 Flash-based calculators, with dynamic graphs and personalized PDF reports. BlueRush also created the underlying math and logic supporting the tools.

To effectively fulfill on this project, BlueRush was required to work at an “enterprise” level across the organization, collaborating with the client via different departments, including Products/Business, Design/Branding, Technology, and the User Accessibility team.

The finished suite of tools can be easily changed by the client, who can also turn certain features on and off. The tools are also completely accessible for visually impaired users.
