Responsys, leader of multi-channel lifecycle marketing, worked with Epson, a leading supplier of value-added point-of-sale printers, to design a One-Year Anniversary Email thanking customers that created an online store account.
The goal for this project was to create an original and compelling thank you note that would work in any season, with any customer. The message needed to be light-hearted and include a 10 percent off coupon.
The Anniversary email did that and more – offering a coupon code, an opportunity to utilize their Epson product, and even a hug! The Responsys team wanted to take this online message offline, giving recipients the chance to interact with it using their Epson products. By printing out the email and dressing up an Epson printer with shoes, accessories, and a mustache, this email created a very unique experience and offered a keepsake for the customer’s anniversary.
