Thousands of philanthropies across the country are limited by the fact that they don't have a car or truck for transportation. The 100 Cars for Good program was a Facebook-enabled philanthropy initiative, whereby Toyota gave away 100 cars in 100 days to 100 deserving charitable organizations.
The campaign engaged the public to determine how donations will be awarded. Daily winners were determined by popular vote on a dedicated Facebook application. Each day, five charities had the opportunity to win. The organization receiving the most votes at the end of the day won a car.
